In our culture, most of what we learned about Sexuality stems from the time when we were school kids – and if lucky, we evolved somewhat to become functioning adults – some more, some less…
But there’s so much more to learn, and it’s never too late to re-educate ourselves and celebrate our Sexuality – the Essence of our beautiful Life Force.
Many newer modalities in the field of Psychotherapy, Bodywork and Alternative Healing are based on the concept that our life experiences (positive and negative) are held in the body – to understand them fully, we must work directly with the body. These groups of modalities are given the label somatic, which simply means of the body or body-based.
Sexological Bodywork is a newly emerging, vital and highly effective form of somatic sex education in which we bring unconditional and non-judgmental attention, love and acceptance to our clients’ sexuality and their body.
Through this work, we help create an experience of body memory that is positive and non-shaming, which promotes deep healing and expansion of sexual, and erotic pleasure.
Sexological Bodyworkers are somatic erotic educators, assisting individuals, couples and groups to deepen their experience of being alive as a vibrant sexual human being in their body, the temple in which every life experience is sacred.
Although we come from many spiritual and religious traditions, collectively, we acknowledge the spiritual dimensions of sexuality. Individuals, couples and groups are guided into the mystical and shamanic aspects of human sexuality.
Sexological Bodyworkers believe that sexual health and erotic education are fundamental human rights – and we consider pleasure a powerful tool and a valuable form of education – our birthright.
We offer experiential learning opportunities that consciously access profound ecstatic and erotic states, which can lead to personal transformation on all levels.
The focus of individual sessions is on the client’s experience within his or her own body. The practitioner is fully clothed, and the touch is uni-directional.
Men and women of all sexual orientations wish to enhance what is already working and explore what is erotically possible.
We work with adult individuals who have experienced sexual trauma through abuse, rape or inadequate sexual education from family, religion, school, and health care professionals.
Some people seek our help because sexual shame has damaged self-image, interfered with relationships, or even thwarted their ability to love and possibly numbed their experience of pleasure.
But regardless of whether past sexual experiences were positive or negative, a Sexological Bodywork session can be a transformational, enriching, profoundly healing and empowering experience – a true celebration of our beautiful life force energy!
